Effective date: July 8, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HereItWas mobile app ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
HereItWas helps you photograph storage spaces and mark where your items live. The App runs primarily on your device; the content you create is stored locally (see our Privacy Policy).
You retain all rights to the photos, text, and other content you create in the App ("Your Content"). Because Your Content is stored on your device, you are responsible for it, including keeping your own backups. We do not store, access, or control Your Content and cannot recover it for you if it is lost.
You agree not to use the App to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or store unlawful content. You agree not to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the App except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
The App offers optional paid features ("PRO") sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All payments, billing, and refunds are handled by the respective app store under its terms; we do not process payments directly. Entitlements are subject to the store's rules, and prices may change with notice.
The free version of the App shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Your interaction with ads and any third-party content is between you and the relevant advertiser or Google.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Your Content will never be lost or corrupted. Keep independent backups of important data.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
